A mandatory 18-hour firearm safety and proficiency course required to obtain or renew a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit in New York State. It consists of 16 hours of in-person classroom instruction and 2 hours of live-fire range training.

The gun range setting is at 444 Saw Mill River road, Elmsford, NY 10523
The classroom setting will be broken up into two days which will be held on a Saturday & Sunday.
During the class will go over multiple topics such as suicide prevention, gun negligence, hands on firearms knowledge & training, mass shootings, firearms transportation and many other topics.
Reminder: The firearms safety course is one of many steps You must take in order able to receive your firearms license. The decision for you to receive your gun license is ultimately held up to the NYPD at one police plaza or your home police agency.
